how can I order a preschool palettes book?
There are several ways in which you can place an order:
1. Contact us to schedule a personal appointment to hand-off your artwork and make your book
style selection.
2. Visit us at one of our public events or displays in the Metro DC area. To find out where we’ll be

3. Host a “Collection” Party in your home. Gather your friends for a group hand-off and as
hostess, enjoy discounts on your own order. See our Parties page for more details.
4. By mail, if you're outside the DC area.
how long does it take?
Once we have received your artwork, it generally takes 6-8 weeks to produce your book.
Depending upon the time of year, that timeframe may be longer or shorter. Typically, Preschool
Palettes book production is at its peak from June through December. When we receive your
order, we can give you a more exact turn-around time based upon our current production
schedule.
what forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). Payment in full is
due at the time the order is placed.
do you offer family discounts?
Yes. Once you have placed your order for your first child, we happily extend a 10% discount to
siblings books ordered at the same time.
what other discounts do you offer?
Order a duplicate copy of your child’s book at the time of the original order and receive 20% off
the second book.
do you accept preschool palettes book orders from outside the Northern
Virginia area?
Yes! Please check out Preschool Palettes by Mail for details.

will my original artwork be returned?
Yes, we will return all of your original artwork with your printed Preschool Palettes book or print.
can I have more than one child or school year featured in a single book?
Yes, we would be happy to create a family book for you, or a general school days book. The book
will feature a chapter for each child or school year.
is a preschool palettes book limited to just preschool artwork?
A Preschool Palettes book is not a scrap book, however, we are happy to include a single picture
of your child and/or class picture in addition to their artwork. We respectfully request that you
do not share with us your child's report card or other confidential forms of communication
between your family and your child's school, as well as academic worksheets.
what if my child’s artwork is less than picture perfect?
Often, “less than perfect” lends to the charm of the piece. However, upon your request, we may
do some minor restorations like taping tears from the backside, cropping out dog-eared corners,
and re-gluing “accessories.” We will not "photoshop" any artwork.
what if my child’s artwork is an odd shape? i.e. not square or rectangular
No worries. We’ll digitize your child’s artwork against a complimentary background.
will you accept artwork that is several years old?
Absolutely. If you’ve been holding on to an older child’s preschool artwork, we’re happy to make
a Preschool Palettes book for you. We may find it necessary to apply our restoring efforts to the
artwork depending upon its age and condition, but we will never compromise the integrity and
creativity of your child’s work.
do you have samples?
Yes, we have samples of each book style for you to check out before placing your order.
why would I want a duplicate copy of my child’s book?
Preschool Palettes books make great gifts for grandparents – a new definition of “Grandma's
Brag Book” – or other family members or close friends. Keep one for yourself and save the other
for your child when they are older.
couldn’t I just do this myself using a photo sharing site?
Absolutely! But why not let Preschool Palettes take the time to sort through your child’s artwork
and use their design talents to create your individual book. We strive to make our books available
to meet everyone’s budget. Comparable businesses charge anywhere from $200-$400 per book
plus extra fees for simply sorting through your child’s artwork. We do it all for one low price.
